Want a custom portrait of your own animal friends and family members? Or do you know someone who would appreciate to have a beautiful drawing of their animal besties? Here is how to submit your own commissions for a pet portrait(s):

A High Quality Photograph of your pet(s) that you wish to have a portrait of:

- As BEST QUALITY as possible. The higher the quality the better! **(You may send multiple shots of the same animal if you are not sure which one to use)**

- A High Quality Photograph MUST Include =

a. NO Blurriness or Image Distortions

b. The BEST Lighting (Not too dark, Not too bright, NO weird color filtered lighting, Natural light is best.)

c. The CLEAREST and MOST accurate details

d. The BEST angle specifically of the face, (I prefer their face because that is where the personality of the animal shows itself the most.)

A High Quality Photograph Reference will insure the closest in accuracy to details for the BEST results of the finished product!

2. Beginning Your Pet Portrait(s): (Do remember that this is not a photographed portrait. While I try to make each portrait as realistic as possible, it may still have some small imperfections. However, in my opinion, it is these tiny flaws that give each portrait a unique personality. It is near impossible to capture this quality in a photograph.)

Once I have a reference photo that works, I can start the processes of illustrating your pet portrait(s). My art media preferences include: watercolor/gouche paint, watercolor pencil, Tombow Dual Brush Pen Markers, watercolor/multimedia paper.

***Please note that the ETC (estimated time of completion) may vary per portrait. Possible Time Factors to consider include: complexity of the unique subject(s), multiple subjects per commission, additional critiques, changes and fixes.

If you have a specific deadline you wish to have a portrait completed, PLEASE give at least a few month's to a year's notice. The extra time will allow for plenty of wiggle room to make changes, fix mistakes, etc. The finest outcome of any goal is rarely rushed.

You will receive any updates on the WIP for any feedback you may have. The best time for suggesting any changes in the early-middle stages.

Once any final changes are made and you are delighted with your product it will be time to prepare your completed pet portrait for shipping.

3. Shipping and Payment:

Congratulations, your pet portrait is now complete and ready for shipping.
Before shipping I always like to include a matting which is simply a cardboard-like framing that comes in different colors that is used to dress up finished artwork making it look more professionally presentable.
Framing or customized matting will be an additional cost.

Please send me an email with your preferred Shipping and Billing Address.

Please note that as of right now, I am currently still working on figuring out how to include online payment methods such as credit cards to my website. So until I get that sorted out, it would be best if you could pay me either by cash or check for now. (Please scroll down to the "Pricing List" for more information on pricing and payment.)

4. Greeting Cards:

***IMPORTANT***: Please know I CANNOT make greeting cards without FIRST purchasing a portrait. Also for the process of printing high quality and professional greeting cards, I collaborate with the printing company, Vistaprint. A single pack of Greeting Cards includes 10 individual cards and comes with blank envelops.

(Do note that the greeting cards and shipping are separate and additional fees to the portrait. Please check below for pricing.)

The Greeting Cards will be shipped to me first for inspection of quality before shipping them to you. Any corrections made are not necessary to include in the payment. When your greeting cards are ready for shipping to you, please refer to the directions above for shipping information!

- The best methods to pay me at the moment for commissions in particular is by sending either physical Cash or Checks.

- Online Payments Methods: Credit / Debit, are still being worked out for commissions. This method may work better for purchasing physical products such as Greeting Cards for now. We appreciate your patience while we figure this part out and if you have any questions about payments or concerns please reach out to me.

*For paying with cash or check: At checkout once the portrait is complete and ready for shipping, along with your shipping details, I will give you my business address to send the physical payment to.
